Dwight as Inventor and Humorist

As time passes I will share as much of Dwight's humor as I know. He demanded so much reverence for the universe from himself and those around him, and yet he had the humility to include humor in all of his art. He told me that humor in his art was one of his trade marks.

Dwight was a remarkable experimenter with audio-video equipment. By the age of 25 he probably had gone through 10 cassette recorders. We have lived across the country from each other since 1972. In the 70's I started playing the drums (at Dwight's urging) Once we took apart our telephones, hooking the earpieces to our music recievers (and then to headphones) and the mouthpieces to microphones. We were able to jam with each other across 2000 miles, via the phone system!
